This month, Wine Blogging Wednesday created by Lenn Thompson of LENNDEVOURS , is in it’s 60 th edition and hosted by Megan at Wannabe Wino . Her theme this month is anything Zin, and pairing it with BBQ and or grilled meat. Well since I’m a vegetarian I couldn’t comply with the second part but I did the first and served it with a great pizza from my favorite local pizzeria Angelos. I thought it would be funny to choose a “white zin” but I didn’t and chose the 2006 Seghesio San Lorenzo Block 8 Zinfandel .

After yesterday’s blog, I thought it might be relevant to describe my reawakening with God. I am going to rely a story that I told the other night at my shamanic gathering. It’s my “Coming Back to Jesus” story.Although I was raised in a Christian home, I lost my faith when I was 23. I basically threw out God when I no longer believed in religion. I was too young to know that religion and God do not have to go hand in hand.
Can You Afford To Retire - investment-infoblog.com

Looking to make investments for retirement always seems to be something that you think I’ll do it in another few years. However, anyone thinking in this way couldn’t be more wrong. It is vital that these days you start to think about that rainy day whilst still in your twenties and thirties because everyday you put it off could mean you have to work longer, and who really wants to work until they are in their seventies? The way our country is today things do look pretty bleak for the future.

Every area of the world has different wedding traditions and Scandinavia is no different. Scandinavia consists of the countries of Finland, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. Each of these countries has their own individual wedding traditions and each is steeped in tradition and full of meaning. Some of these traditions also intertwine with each other or cross over into other countries, depending on the couple and their background.

Last week, we had the wonderful opportunity to participate in our church’s Vacation Bible School. This was a unique experience in that it was actually “Family” VBS – made for entire families to engage in together! All of our children agreed that this was their favorite VBS year ever, because they loved having the whole family together. Iron Man and I enjoyed it too! As an added bonus for our family, the theme happened to be Rome: Paul and the Underground Church .

Turning Gold Into Money Gold is one of the most dynamic elements of the modern economy and some might find it funny that the oldest form of valuing physical commodities is still thriving today. The first gold coins were produced in 700 BC and since then the precious metal has been used as the primary exchange element. The fact that gold was scarce and highly valued made it the perfect means of exchange, regardless of what the exchanged items were.

Last month, the boys and I flew to Mississippi and spent 2 weeks cavorting with grandparents and cousins, and then we flew to Virginia to cavort with even more family. Since Kevin is posting the last batch of pictures first, that is how I will start my vacation wrap-up. We went to the National Zoo, which was a huge disappointment to me. (No penguins, woe.) The kids had a good time, though a good deal of it was due to riding in the zoo’s two-kiddie stroller. Best $4 spent ever.

What if Obama again made holding Gold illegal? What would happen to holders of the Gold ETF GLD? Where is this ETF domiciled for legal questions arising? What would happen to the price of Gold on the Open Market? Collapse or Boom? There’s a lot of Internet chatter these days about the possibility of the U.S. government seizing its citizens’ private gold holdings. What are the chances? Well, it’s always good to bear in mind that there is no telling what the government might do.
