The 1985 Ford Mustang GT is a popular model, having the distinction of being the last year of the 5.0 HO V8 with a Holly 4-barrel carb. Imagine finding one with less than 100 miles on the odometer. According to the original seller it was purchased on August 15th, 1985 and then driven into climate controlled storage in Ottumwa Iowa. We can’t guess why this person never drove it, but we’re guessing the person now in possession wants a ton for it as evidenced by the $11,600 “reserve not met” price.

A little over a week ago we reported that Sam Hübinette was filming a ford commercial in downtown Los Angeles featuring the Iacocca “Legacy” Mustang and today we bring to you the final product. The commercial is as classy as the car looks, with Sinatra’s Fly Me To The Moon serenading Ford’s newest pony as it cruises all over southern California, turning blonde heads everywhere it goes. For Sam’s part, the Mustang shows off it’s power as it tears up the streets of L.A..

After a few weeks away from the drag strip, Bob Tasca III and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing team return to Brainerd for the 28th Annual Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals with hopes of moving up the points ladder, clinching a spot in the crucial Countdown, and bringing home another Wally. With only three races left until the start of the Countdown, Tasca feels confident in his Motorcraft/Quick Lane Shelby Mustang and team. “We feel a win is just around the corner for us,” said Tasca.

AS THE OCTOBER 23 release date for Forza Motorsport 3 draws nearer, more and more information about the highly-anticipated racing simulator continues to trickle out. It has already been announced that over 400 cars and 100 race tracks will be offered in the game, but Forza 3 ’s developer Turn 10 Studios has released more details on exactly which cars will be driveable.
